About the Role
We are recruiting for an Outside HVAC Sales Specialist to join one of our two branches in either Port Coquitlam/Vancouver (BC), or in Edmonton (AB).

If you are an experienced HVAC sales professional and you love to hunt for new business while supporting an existing client portfolio this role is a great fit for you!  We are looking for those individuals who thrive in a fast-paced environment, excel at building relationships, and provide outstanding customer service. This is the ideal role for those that are results-oriented and are adept at assessing and understanding both the immediate and future needs of customers.

Key Responsibilities

  • Create and maintain Sales Territory and Account plans where necessary
  • Sell the full portfolio of Carrier HVAC Service products and solutions (i.e. service agreements, repairs and modernizations)
  • Present at customer seminars to develop new and existing customer relationships and opportunities
  • Utilize CRM to manage customer interactions, activities, and opportunity pipeline
  • Seek out or respond to repair opportunities
  • Clearly articulate the value of Carrier’s value offerings  and how they map to the customers’ needs
  • Ability to detect the Customer’s buying stage and adjust selling accordingly
  • Responding to the customer requirements in a timely manner
  • Ability to consistently achieve sales metrics and Annual Targets
  • Effectively negotiate service agreement renewals when required
  • Ability to sell directly to end user customer



Basic Qualifications

  • High School Diploma / GED.
  • Fluent in English.
  • 5+ years experience within the HVAC industry (sales, technical, service).
  • 3+ years sales experience with proven track records in the HVAC industry in the local market of: either British Colombia or Alberta.

Preferred Qualifications (assets):

  • Bachelor's degree
  • Relevant education background in the HVAC field.
  • Strong communications skills, results oriented, highly motivated.
  • End user service experience (commercial / industrial services).

Pay Range:

$89,250 - $125,000 Annually
