Commercial Sales Consultant- Security

c. £35,000 basic plus benefits, commission & company vehicle (OTE c £65k)

Chubb Fire & Security, part of the Carrier global group of businesses, is currently recruiting for a number of Commercial Sales Consultants. The main goal of these roles is to sell new Electronic Security Solutions (Intruder Detection, CCTV, and Access Control) across a defined geographical territory.

What will I be doing as a Commercial Sales Consultant?

  • Selling Electronic Security Solutions (Intruder Detection, CCTV, and Access Control) across a defined geographical territory.  
  • Developing both new and existing business with commercial organisations (SME’s, Residential, large corporations) 
  • Building partnerships with Architects, M and E Contractors and Main Contractors, both by telephone and field sales visits
  • Maximising on revenue potential whilst continually delivering excellent customer service.
    You will be targeted to meet or exceed install sales and margin revenue targets, recurring revenue sales targets and activity and quotation levels.

To be successful in this role you will:

  • A good understanding of electronic security products including Intruder detection Access Control and CCTV systems.
  • Proven new business development sales experience.
  • Proven ability to self-generate leads
  • Technical, solution sales background
  • Technical knowledge of security systems or products is preferred\ but related technical industry knowledge may be considered.
  • An awareness and ongoing knowledge of security legislation.
  • Strong territory management and sales planning skills
