About this role
As part of Carrier’s Digital transformation, we are looking for a dynamic individual to serve as the strategic Digital business partner for the CCR Business for North America. The Senior Program Manager, Digital Solutions will define the digital capabilities roadmap and drive transformation for all IT domains especially though ERP implementation for this new Business Unit that we are creating to support the growth of our company.
This person, in partnership with the COE leads (ERP, DSS, Corp IT such as HR & Finance) and Infrastructure Shared Services, will develop and manage the corresponding program plan to deliver the required capabilities to the business. Areas include ERP, SAP, CRM, SFDC, and Payrolls Systems. This role will report directly to Global DT Director of CCR.
Key Responsibilities
Define Short / Middle / Long term scenario related to IT strategy to be implemented for our business in North America in the light of our divestiture from CARRIER especially for ERP for both Sales & Distribution but also supply chain abilities.
Develop, maintain & lead execution detailed business plans for CCR digital projects which will result from those strategies.
Partner with the CCR IT Domain leaders to identify strategic digital capabilities that will increase the competitiveness of the business. Translate those strategic capabilities into program requirements for execution.
Stay abreast of industry trends (competitors, technology, related industries, potential disruptors), relative to the needs of the CCR business
Work with local management in developing timely solutions for the CCR requirements.
Assess demand across the CCR digital programs and partner to define resourcing needs
Conducts initial assessment for the skill / roles needed to complete this project and whether there are any potential gaps
Works with the business to develop a thorough business case (via approved template mainly eCAR) & submits business case to the appropriate governance review board
Track program progress and work with project managers to communicate status to the appropriate leaders
Conduct business reviews with the CCR partners on periodic basis and identify follow-up opportunities & issues,
Address customer issues/concerns in accurate and timely manner
Provide digital / technical advice and consultancy to clients in effective manner
Identify present and future digital opportunities with CCR leadership
Maintain security and confidentiality of confidential CCR information
Partner with the central DT teams to ensure CCR continue to receive best in class services in terms of commercial & service application support (Mainly on Salesforce.com Technologies).
Manage and operate the landscape implemented for this business in partnership with AMS partners to secure business continuity & ensure their decommissioning to global and standardized solutions at CCR level.
Support onboarding for CCR employees from this entity (laptops, tablet, mobile etc.)
Manages financial plans and budget.
Licenses management requirement (ERP, SFDC, others)
Act as a point of escalation and coordination for any major IT related issues for this scope.
Ensure compliance with the Carrier IT policies and SOX requirements
Required Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree
10 + years of experience in the design and implementation of IT solutions across several technical disciplines
Preferred Qualifications
Strong experience of ERP projects
Able to manage complex architecture & integrations especially with ERP (SAP)
Customer facing skills, ideally gained a consultancy role
Experience building and deploying applications on a cloud platform such as Azure, AWS
Experience in supporting, deploying Field Service Management application. ServiceMax experience will be a plus.
Deep technical skill in product management, application management, and coding
Demonstrated ability to think strategically about solutions to business, product, and technical challenges
Basic understanding of DevOps, including continuous integration, continuous deployment / delivery, configuration and containerization, infrastructure as a cloud, and monitoring
Demonstrated “agile-development” mindset with strong customer-focus & results-orientation
Flexible mindset (not married to a single language) and a strong desire to continue to grow skillset and work across the full technology stack
Effective interpersonal, teamwork and collaboration skills
Strong analytical and business problem solving skills
Strong relationship management and communication skills
Strong program management skills; certifications preferred
Good understanding of Scrum and other agile techniques
Experience in demand planning for large portfolio of technical projects
