About the role

As Sr. Embedded Software Engineer, you will help develop embedded control software and connectivity solution for Carrier commercial HVAC products. Your goal will be to deliver embedded software to equipment team to support the chiller operation. Your success will expand Carrier’s global organization and help Carrier to be the global leader of lifecycle intelligent and climate energy solution – while simultaneously developing your personal brand as a foremost expert in our space.

Key Responsibilities:

As a (Sr. Embedded Software Engineer), you’ll be responsible for:

• Object-Oriented Design (OOD) software design with C++ language
• Conduct unit testing by GTEST or other relevant frameworks
• Collaborate with a global software team to implement DevOps practices, employing Docker, Conan, CMake, and SonarQube
• Partner with system and cross-functional teams to comprehend and define software requirements specifications (SSRD and SRS)
• Collaborate with control algorithm and QA engineers to integrate software, resolve issues, and facilitate release
• Provide service and maintenance support in laboratory, factory, and field environments.
• Perform any other tasks assigned by the supervisor

Requirements

As a minimum you must have:

• Bachelor or above education background
• More than 3 years embedded software C++ development experience
• Solid skills on office software and software development and management tools
• Good English skills on both written and spoken area
• Good work attitude and teamwork spirit

Although not necessary, it would be nice if you have:

• Solid presentation and communication skills
• Computer science, E&E, automation, Controls, HVAC and related majority
