About the role

Established sales engineering professional. Provide pre sales expertise to help identify customer needs for sales teams. Makes independent decisions to ensure support of sales teams is effective and efficient.

Key Responsibilities:

As a (specify role), you’ll be responsible for:

• Product Knowledge

  1. In-depth knowledge of existing Air conditioning product line-up (RLC & VRF)

  2. Experienced in field installation, commissioning & troubleshooting (RLC & VRF)

  3. Competitive benchmarking

  4. Working closely with product management and sales teams to identifying gaps

  5. Working closely with engineering teams

  6. Participating in new product introduction

• Sales Tool Development

  1. Proofreading technical inputs to sales tools like Catalogues, technical & installation manuals etc.

  2. Developing and participating in improvement of technical tools

  3. Diagnostic /service tool or other software either with suppliers / partners or own developers

  4. Plan and spec tools, benchmarking tools to pitch against competitors

  5. Attending and supporting technical seminars

  6. Supporting exhibitions and trade shows

• Sales Engineering

  1. Providing day to day technical & service support to sales teams

  2. Developing technical materials for sales team

  3. Providing support & follow-up on installation quality issues, able to provide hands on installation, field test & troubleshooting advise through online or on site

  4. Supporting on projects design, bidding enquiry

• Technical Training

  1. Developing & improving exhaustive material together with R&D or suppliers / partners

  2. Supporting execution for annual training calendar:  Employees and channel partners2. Supporting execution for annual training calendar:  Employees and channel partners

Requirements

We are looking for people who are technical discipline. If this is you, get in touch.

As a minimum you must have:

• Engineering license or Master’s degree, technical discipline (preferably mechanical or electronics) with 3+ years of experience – preference for HVAC segment
• Hands-on service & maintenance experience preferred
