About the role
Carrier Transicold refrigerated transport solutions help to improve daily life for people around the world. Carrier Transicold helps improve transport of temperature controlled goods with a complete line of equipment and services for refrigerated transport and cold chain visibility.
For more than 50 years, Carrier Transicold has been an industry leader, providing customers around the world with advanced, energy-efficient and environmentally sustainable transport refrigeration systems for light commercial vehicles, trucks and trailers.
The managing director is responsible to achieve sales targets on volume / margin by different sales tiers, segments, and channels.
Develop customers network across the country as well as define the Go-To-Market.
Act as the leader to public customers and coordinate local events.
Closely work with the central European team on Sales Operations, Pricing, Service, & Finance objectives.
Key Responsibilities:
- You will be responsible for creating and rolling out the right sales strategy for the country to drive revenue growth across the different markets (Truck, Trailer and LCV).
- Develop & maintain personal direct customer relationships across the country leveraging the sales with the main Key Accounts.
- Organize field sales teams and work closely with the sales back-office team to deliver a high-quality performance to raise our customers satisfaction measured through NPS; and initiate actions to meet and anticipate market requirements.
- Accountable for sales forecasting within the country and tracking/managing sales performance by market.
- Along with the Regional Managing Director, he/she will be responsible for optimizing the deployment of sales resources to scale coverage and limit cost of sales.
- P&L accountability.
- Responsible for directly managing all local field sales and also responsible for the coordination within the other departments.
- Responsible for Controls & Compliance on country level & compliance with local laws.
- Improve the efficiency as well as optimizing the local process/systems.
- Focus on selling service solutions and spare parts.
- Developing PARTS sales and Services Sales (full-service contract, LYNX telematics, etc.)
- Managing and developing the service network (PACE, staffing, training, etc.)
Requirements
- Demonstrate personal integrity and leadership, role modelling the company values.
- Outstanding people, interaction, and networking skills.
- Demonstrate ability to take decisions and solve problems at rather large complexity, considering multiple aspects and nuances.
- Results oriented with the ability to work in ambiguous situations.
- Fluent in Italian and English.
- Fully understands all Sales standard processes from lead identification to deal closing.
- Good experience in how to leverage SalesForce to manage sales operations and teams.
- Understands customer needs and provide appropriate response to them via careful selection of the best suited equipment, solutions delivery and/or services proposals.
- Understand pricing mechanisms, margins and their impact on the company financials.
- Pricing negotiation, Key account management and Sales forecast accuracy.
- Pro-actively take actions to improve local performance and share best-practices
- Expert in teamwork - creating a productive, positive and inspiring environment.
- Proven track record of developing strong talent, ability to connect with employees at all levels.
- Willingness to travel.
