About the role
Ensure control over production processes and their output in order to ensure that the qualitative characteristics and performance levels of the product comply with the defined standards.
Manage, evaluate and develop collaborators to enable them to carry out the assigned activities effectively, ensuring the achievement of the Management's objectives in line with the guidelines provided.
Supervises team of entry to intermediate level Quality Inspection professionals or supervisors of Technical / Business Support level employees, setting day-to-day goals and objectives. Responsible for balancing inspector workloads to ensure effective use of resources, maintaining inspection logs, and writing inspection reports.

Requirements
As a minimum you must have:
- University Degree in Engineering, Mechanical Engineering or equivalent.
- 5 years of working experience in a structured work environment
- 2 years of experience in managing a team
- Knowledge of quality management system
- Knowledge of statistical process analysis methods (6 sigma or equivalent)
- Knowledge of Lean Methodology and its applications
- Fluent in English and Italian
- Black Belt certification would be a plus
Responsibilities
You’ll be responsible for:
- Ensure the correct functioning of the quality management system (ISO 9001 certification), verifying compliance with the procedures by all corporate entities, monitoring the implementation of the corrective actions identified in case of observations/non-conformities detected, guaranteeing the necessary support in management review activities and liaising with the certifying entity during periodic visits.
- Ensure correct transcription, management and compliance with the quality manual relating to ASME certification and management of the related inspection visits.
- Collaborate with Central Quality to share product/process improvement activities and plans.
- Designs activities and supervises quality inspection professionals in the execution of tasks to ensure adherence to established department, organization and customer specification parameters.
- Develops inspection plans and balances inspector workloads to ensure effective use of resources.
- Maintains inspection logs and writes inspection reports. Prepares technical reports or presentations to document results so that performance problems can be identified and resolved.
- Contributes to determination of the appropriate methods and sequences to perform inspections to ensure that the process is efficient and effective.
- Provides feedback on quality issues arising from inspection fields to ensure continuous improvement and quality achievement.
- Trains inspection specialists and technicians to ensure that the skills and performance of employees meet the organization’s needs.
