About the role / level of responsibility:

Data Centers is poised to be the single-largest growth vertical globally, and is one of the most important verticals for Carrier’s growth journey.

As part of the APAC Applied Product Marketing function, you are the growth enabler for expansion of Carrier’s product portfolio for Data Center Thermal Management. With massive expansion of Data Centers in APAC region, you will be responsible for building & executing the liquid cooling roadmap for APAC Region (includes China, India, Japan, Australia & South-east Asia).

Your focus & your “bias-for-action” shall play a crucial role in creating impactful results for the business. Your good interpersonal skills to work closely with Sales, Engineering, Operations & Marcom shall be a key facilitator to organization’s success.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for product management & marketing of data center products (primarily liquid cooling) in the Asia Pacific region
  • Collect and analyze data center customers‘ liquid-cooling needs, study competition landscape & regulations, define products, guide product development and technical route selection
  • Own the lifecycle for Liquid Cooling product portfolio – from planning, supporting product development, introduction to sales, iterative upgradation basis customer feedback and obsolescence plan.
  • Work closely in a cross-functional environment with R&D (Engineering), Manufacturing, MarCom, Sales & Aftermarket.
  • Manage product launches ensuring all selling tools, pricing, product training, and promotions are done timely and effectively.
  • Monitor the operational indicators after the product is launched, carry out marketing planning, and coordinate relevant cross-functional teams to promote customer feedback, product quality issues & design improvement work.
  • Create and update competition product benchmarking for each product segment and draw conclusions on selling pitch for our brands and derive product gaps.

Basic Requirements:

  • Bachelor degree or above, major in refrigeration, HVAC, thermal dynamic and related majors.
  • Need to be fluent in English language.
  • More than 5 years of experience in Data Center HVAC Engineering, Sales, Product Management or Application Engineering. Must have experience in Selling, Application Engineering or Development of liquid cooling products (cold plate liquid cooling or immersion liquid cooling).
  • Familiar with the technical routes of liquid cooling products and the products of mainstream liquid cooling manufacturers. Also, should have a good sense of market insight and analysis.
  • Strong communication skills, certain English communication skills, able to face multiple internal teams, external customers, suppliers from China and overseas.
