About this Role
Carrier is looking for software, electrical, mechanical, systems, and other engineering majors with demonstrated leadership ability and strong academic performance to join our competitive Carrier Engineering Leadership Program (ELP). The ELP offers new graduates an opportunity to deliver impactful contributions to strategic projects through three eight-month rotations across various Carrier business units.
ELP rotation locations will be in China Shanghai or Hangzhou or Foshan.
Candidates selected for the program will receive front-line, hands-on, meaningful assignments designed to stretch their capabilities and accelerate their professional development. In addition to the hands-on experience, the program includes high-caliber training, mentorship, and guidance from our diverse team of Carrier executives and program alumni to build a strong and lasting global network of colleagues.
Our Software and Controls CoE team is evolving to maintain Carrier’s leadership in applying advanced software and controls technologies to support the NPD team in developing next-generation products. As part of this transformation, we are hiring and empowering a recently graduated Control System Engineer to help us innovate and deliver intelligent, high-performance control system solutions for our customers.
Key Responsibilities
- Support control algorithm development, control system architecture design, and controller verification processes
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate control systems into new product platforms
- Conduct system-level testing and tuning to ensure performance and reliability
- Assist in the development of control system documentation and standards
- Participate in design reviews and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives
Required Qualifications
- Master’s degree in HVAC or Control Engineering, Automation, or related field
- Graduated from a 985 or 211 university
Preferred Qualifications
- Exposure to control algorithm design and system modelling
- Experience with control system design projects during Bachelor or Master studies
- Familiarity with controller development tools such as MATLAB/Simulink or C/C++
- GET-6 or above with good English oral communication capability
- Proactive and optimistic attitude
- Strong capabilities in learning, communication & collaboration, and adaptability
