Role Responsibilities:
- Supervises team of entry to intermediate level professionals or supervisors of Technical / Business Support employees in Strategic Business Analysis, Planning and Support. Provides guidance and supervision on market research, compilations of commercial information, modelling and reports. Reviews draft reports.
Role Purpose:
- Supervises all levels of employees and team leaders who collect and analyze macro economic, industry, and target market information and competitors' intelligence.
- Provides guidance on methodology to conduct market research that aids strategic planning and decision making, focused on product and service development, improvement and elimination considerations.
- Provides guidance on compilations of commercial, financial and technical information as requested by business development teams.
- Provides guidance on completing modeling and analyzing models related to market and business intelligence data.
- Guides staff on the development of control and reporting systems that monitor business growth within product and service segments and strategic accounts.
- Reviews draft reports regarding market and business intelligence data and notes where edits are needed to finalize reports for presentation to senior management, who uses the reports to consult with product and service segment leaders.
Minimum Requirements:
- Understands basic management approaches such as work scheduling, prioritizing, coaching and process execution
Requires specialized knowledge of technical or operational practices
University Degree and a minimum of 3 years prior relevant experience
